We met at the Amazing Arizona Comic Convention. Showed you my beginner's sketches drawn with Sharpie on 92 bright 20 lb. typing paper. You were kind enough to give me a business card, but I couldn't find it when I got home. Pleased to find you here.

yknow Aq, i received your email earlier this week and wasn't sure...but now I'm almost positive...I'm sorry man but is it possible you have me mistaken for John Layman? Because Phoenix was the first time that has happened; and if someone shows me their sketches (green sharpie or otherwise) I typically pull out my own sketchbook to show them where i start.

Thank you for the quick response!  When I met the artists at table B19, their style looks remarkably like yours on this DA account. I have only scribbled for a long time, but wanted to improve my style, so went to the Comic Convention on Jan 26, to speak with artists that specialized in stylized monsters and mythological creatures. I obtained that business card, but must have dropped it on the way to the bus stop. Now you have me wondering who this other Josh is? The kind lady at the booth said I had an unusual style that was both cute, yet creepy at the same time. DA artist Rex-Equinox was kind enough to draw up my domestic mammalian dragon, Smidgn some time ago, and artist Loopy Wolf stitched together a plushie version of him based on my written descriptions.
